Ms. Fukushima was born and raised in Japan and speaks native Japanese.  She graduated first in her class from Keio University and with highest honors from the University of Hawaii William S. Richardson School of Law in Manoa.

Biography:  

Chiako Fukushima is an immigration attorney at Hirota & Associates, where she represents clients in a wide range of immigration matters. She graduated at the top of her class with an LL.B. from Keio University in Tokyo and earned her J.D. summa cum laude from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, William S. Richardson School of Law. Chiako also holds an LL.M. from the University of Hawaiʻi. 

Before joining Hirota & Associates, she worked at Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel, one of Honolulu’s largest law firms where she represented many Japanese business clients.  

Born and raised in Yokosuka, Japan, Chiako is fluent in Japanese and English. In her free time, she enjoys caring for her family’s farm in Waianae.
